Some people are just uniquely gifted. They know how to organize and write their stories and restore memorable photographs on their computer. But most people struggle with these activities. The result is preserving personal and family stories and artifacts never materializes into an heirloom book for children and future generations.

I. Assistance with Your Project

-  Provide a variety of resource materials to build your confidence.

-  Create the design overview and steps for completing your project.

-  Advise with different ways to organize your materials and project.

-  Price: usually $100 - $500 (at $40/h0ur)

II. Enhancement of Your Project

-  Photographs and images are professionally scanned and restored.

-  Genealogical research is expanded with graphically designed family trees.

-  Time line models, drawings, tables, etc. can be incorporated to add visual interest.

-  Your project expands with more features. You create the book and print it, but now with increased quality and family value.

-  Price: usually $500 - $1500

III. Organization of Your Project to Create a Book

-  Rather than you creating the book, I will directly be involved with the project to create and print the book.

-  Organize images, genealogical data, time lines of family events, and stories from individuals. Conduct interviews if requested.

-  Assemble all information and print books for each member of the family.

-  Price: $1500 and above

I use desktop publishing software to create your book (i.e., not online services). This means your book is not limited in size with its dimensions and page count, quantity of content (e.g., images), paper style, and design. Generally books range from 70 pages to 300 pages, but they can be larger, if desired. You choose the quantity to print - common range is 10 - 50 books, based on the size of your family. All books are printed and bound in the Twin Cities to maximize the communication process and quality of the end product.
